I might be in and out for a bit. It seems that I am under a DDoS attack. Caused by both TrackBack SPAMers and flaky Proxies. I'll be back as soon as I get rid of these problems.
After a flurry of activity on both my and the SPAMers parts, I think I have a handle on the TrackBack SPAM. Over 175,000 attempts from more than 75 servers. Each time I'd firewall one, two more would show up.
I still have a few things to modify to make things even more secure. (this escapade showed me some other items that needed to modified). But I think I can sleep comfortably.
