Google Pack Adds Free Security Apps (NewsFactor): "NewsFactor - Google on Tuesday made moves to beef up its Google Pack service. The free collection of software applications now includes antivirus, antimalware, and antispyware tools."

A quick check of the Google site show that the Google Pack (Windows XP & Vista only) now includes:- Norton Security Scan - Security utility Detects and eliminates viruses and internet worms Free detection updates and scheduled scanning
- Spyware Doctor Starter Edition - Antispyware utility Detects and removes spyware, adware, trojans and keyloggers Includes Smart Updates and scheduling to protect your PC
