Aladdin Chief Cryptographer to Speak at Black Hat USA 2007: "CHICAGO, July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aladdin Knowledge Systems , the leader in Software DRM, USB-based authentication, and secure Web gateways, today announced that Dr. Andrew Lindell, Aladdin's Chief Cryptographer, is scheduled to speak at Black Hat 2007 USA Briefings and Training, on Wednesday, August 1st at 11:15 a.m. at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lindell (see photo), a renowned specialist in authentication methodologies and technologies, will present a session detailing online privacy during the acclaimed six-day IT security event. Lindell is the Chief Cryptographer at Aladdin Knowledge Systems and an Assistant Professor at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He attained a Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2002 and spent two years at the IBM T.J. Watson research lab as a Post-Doctoral fellow in the cryptography research group. Lindell has carried out extensive research in cryptography, and has published more than 40 conference and journal publications. He has authored two books: the first on secure cryptographic protocols, and the second an undergraduate textbook titled 'Introduction to Modern Cryptography' that will appear in August 2007.
