Camera System May Come With Hidden Cost - Breaking News: The Post Chronicle: Privacy rights advocates are warning that a nationwide video camera network being supported by the U.S. government could have a hidden cost.

With the Department of Homeland Security already having given millions of dollars to local governments to take part in the security-based initiative, those concerned about protecting people's rights say such added security may come at the cost of our privacy, The Boston Globe said Sunday.

Privacy rights advocates warn such heightened security measures would include gathering an abundance of information about individuals' behaviors that could easily be abused by those in power.
