Do Not Call List Bills Approved by House, Senate Committees: "Committees in both the House and the Senate on Tuesday afternoon separately approved legislation to prevent consumers' phone numbers from being automatically removed from the FTC's Do Not Call list after 5 years. The House bill is H.R. 3541; the Senate bill is S. 2096."
