Since the end of the Cold War, and particularly since 9/11, there has been a concerted effort to assess and, in some instances, rethink the policy-making roles of U.S. intelligence gathering agencies. What do we really know about the gathering, production, and dissemination of intelligence and counter-intelligence? Moderator: Margaret Henoch, formerly of the Foreign Service and the CIA. Panelists: Tyler Drumheller, former director of covert operations for the CIA in Europe and author of On the Brink and Bob Kerrey, president of The New School, former member of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Intelligence and a member of the 9/11 Commission.
