CIA: Out of Touch Much? - Via ACLU Blog:

I was just doing a little light reading this morning, on the New York Times website, about Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay when something caught my eye. Right there, atop a photo of Kal Penn and John Cho in orange jumpsuits was this:

A CIA recruitment ad. Odd.

So I did a little more poking and went to the NYT Guantánamo issue page. I clicked through to a few more links and, by golly, it seems that every Guantánamo story brought up a CIA banner ad.

Does the CIA really think that Guantánamo is a good recruiting point or a PR victory? They really are out of touch.

you would think that an article like this would have been dismissed it it had been posted on april fool's day, but this is just plain stupid...if it were posted on "the onion" it would make more sense...
